GRAVITY DROP HEAD

IWT’s Percussive Weld Head (Gravity Drop Weld Head) is
the state-of-the-art stud welding head for large volume
production jobs. This is the only weld head proven to
produce weld zones with little to no porosity. This weld head
is often selected for aerospace and automotive applications
where high strength bonds are critical, such as turbine engine
components, fire suppression systems and airbag canisters.

This head is available in both auto-feed and bottom
load configurations. These weld heads must be mated to
the IWT Atlas power supply for optimum performance.
